Around the new year, I just deactivated my account.
I hadn't been to a munch or kink event in months, and the one space I was in... I eventually raqequit. How is someone going to defend me while still using the wrong pronouns for me? Make it make sense!
But all in all, I found it frustrating for reasons like that (the space ain't queer enough), and other ones (no other BIPOC or Black people at the event, terrible people, logistics, introvert stuff).
Will I be back? Who knows. I only logged on here to see if I could find a source for this:
racism = prejudice + power
because "reverse racism" still isn't real. I can be prejudice all day long against clueless white people, but it's not racism.
I still have the draft for TroutSlap and stuff. So it's bound to be around somewhere. I hope I find it, because it breaks down the concept beautifully.
